We are all
connected to each other in some way - that was the message in the
1993 movie "Six Degrees of Separation". Often, we see how
close the degrees are that bring families or donors into our lives at

Little Degrees of Separation
THE LITTLEST PHILANTHROPIST
For his first
birthday on May 4, Layton (Pictured) threw a party for the kids at
the Ronald McDonald. With his Mom, Robynn's help, he asked everyone
to bring something from our wish list or gift cards to stores we
frequent for supplies. On his first fundraising venture, Layton
presented the House with over $1,000 in gifts!

Dear
Friends of RMHC-SD,
Ouisa Kittredge, a character in the 1993 movie, "Six Degrees of
Separation", made a profound statement that has rung true to
many of us since. She said, "I read somewhere that everybody on
this planet is separated by only six other people. Six degrees of
separation between us and everyone else...I am bound, you are bound,
to everyone on this planet by a trail of six people.

Volunteer Spotlight - Rosebank Elementary

Chula Vista's
Rosebank Elementary won our 2010 Pop Tab contest, after coming in
second place the past three years. They finally captured this honor
by collecting 450 of the total 719 pounds of tabs that were
weighed-in curbside last week at the House! With about 1,200 tabs per
