On any given day at the Ronald
McDonald House, a special moment can happen that captures the essence
of what the House is all about. This story corner will share some of
those moments with you each month.
On a recent Saturday, a very young girl with blond hair, wearing a
lace-edged dress under a white sweater, was leaving Rady Children's
Hospital with her Mom. Hand in hand, they crossed Children's Way and
walked into the parking structure below the Ronald McDonald House.
The child was also clutching a similarly dressed Build-a-Bear,
no doubt a steady companion for her visits to the Hospital...

A NEW YEAR WITH NEW RESOLUTIONS
Your incredible support in 2009 helped us to realize
the dream of opening our new House. We are looking forward to 2010
because we will celebrate our 30th anniversary this year!
With this larger House comes the even larger task of maintaining a
higher level of services for the community. We ask that each of you
make a resolution to stay involved in 2010. We know you understand
the importance of caring for families so families can care for their
kids. Working side by side, we can make a difference every day in the
lives of families of seriously-ill children. On behalf of the Board
of Trustees and all the staff and volunteers, we wish each of you
prosperous and Happy New Year!
