The pledge-driven Kicks for Kids campaign has raised thousands of dollars to support the families at the Ronald McDonald House, whose children are being treated at local hospitals for serious, often life-threatening illnesses. Thanks to all the generous 2009 Kicks for Kids pledgers last season, and to Nate and Mike for putting their hearts into kicking for families in medical crisis. Go Bolts!

About Our Kickers:

Last season, Nate Kaeding set a personal best of 32 field goals for our families! He scored 146 points overall, the best in the NFL, and had the second-best scoring season for the Chargers, only behind LT’s 186 points scored in 2006.

Mike Scifres
continued his mastery of the punt, averaging 45 yards on 52 kicks, and putting 23 punts inside the 20 for our families!

How K4K Works:
2010 is a new and exciting year for Kick for Kids (K4K). Nate and Mike are not just kicking for their team, but also for every family who comes to the Ronald McDonald House in need of a meal, a shower, a nap, or just a warm greeting. Through Kicks for Kids, Nate and Mike are making a meaningful difference by making every kick count.

For each field goal Nate makes, and each punt Mike makes inside the 20-yard line, pledges go back to help families at the Ronald McDonald House. By making a pledge or a one-time donation, for at least $100, you will also become a Kick for Kids Member. As a member, you will receive exclusive benefits throughout the 2010 Charger season.

In 2010, you will also be able to get involved by visiting a select group of participating eateries around town for Kicks for Kicks promotions. Click here for the Schedule of Events.
