There are many ways you can make a contribution to Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. Whether you choose to drop some change in a collection canister at McDonald's restaurants, or volunteer to cook a meal at the House for our families, or hold a company fundraiser - the ways you can make a difference are endless.
No matter how big or small your donation, whether you support with time or finances; you help us make a positive impact on the families who need our help most.
While the Ronald McDonald House does receive generous support from McDonald's Corporation and local owner operators, over 80% of our budget is funded from other sources - people like you!

Buy Your Gifts From Us!:
San Diego resident and author Jeff Wolf has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities to support families with seriously ill, hospitalized children.
He will donate 25% of qualifying sales of his new book, Roadmap to Success, to the organization.
“When a child is hospitalized, it’s emotionally and financially difficult to keep the family together,” says Wolf, president of Wolf Management Consultants. “I’m very pleased to work with Ronald McDonald House, which offers a place of comfort to families in crisis.”
Roadmap to Success helps readers achieve greater success in business and life. The book explains how to set goals to transform the present into the promising future one envisions.
Key concepts are covered by three of today’s most successful business minds and authors: Wolf (the upcoming Essence of Effective Leadership), Stephen Covey (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) and Ken Blanchard (The One Minute Manager).

McDonald's Restaurant Collection Canisters:
Whenever you visit a McDonald's restaurant, you will notice change collection canisters by the registers and in the drive-thru. Leave your loose change (bills not rejected!) and we'll put your investment to work helping families immediately. If you have any questions, contact Susi at 858-467-4750 x16.
Third Party Fundraisers:
This is the perfect option for those groups who are unable to help at the House but want to do something. The possibilities are endless - hold a food drive, collect cash from a jeans day, gather items from the wish list, designate a portion of sales, etc. If you are interested in organizing a fundraiser for the House, contact Liam at 858-467-4750 x30 for more details. And remember, every bit helps!
Pop Tab Collection Program:
Believe it or not, that tab you pull to open your soda can is like a little gold nugget to the Ronald McDonald House. The tab is made of a high-grade aluminum which we recycle and the money is used to support programs for our families: therapeutic arts, tickets to numerous off-site activities, knitting and anything else to make our families more comfortable during their stay.
This is a great project for a classroom or service organization. Collected tabs may be dropped off at the Ronald McDonald House anytime. If you have any questions, contact Brittany at 858-292-7413 x203.
