Every day at the Ronald McDonald House many deserving families walk through the doors to their home away from home.  They come from San Diego area hospitals, where their sick child is being treated, to stay the night, have a meal, do their laundry, talk to other parents in similar situations, and to utilize some of the many other services that our Family Care Center provides.

Due to an overwhelming need, we have built a much larger House.  We have also increased our fundraising efforts to meet this need.  McDonald's Corporation provides about 10% of our annual budget. The remaining  90% of our funding comes from individuals.  Thousands of people each year help these deserving families with donations of $5 up to $25,000.
